About Yader Peréz
Yader Perez born in Bogotá (Colombia) in 1974, graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts (Photography, Human Figure, Art History) from the National University of Colombia.
After spending 10 years of his life as an art lecturer at various institutions in Bogotá, he decided to dedicate himself into the art world. As an artist, he works with a palette knife and his predominant colours are mainly black, white and red. He takes inspiration from medieval philosophers like Winkelmann, Diderot and Madame Lambert. His philosophy when painting is that an artwork should be authentic, aesthetically pleasing and the subject matter should express emotion, sentiment and softness.
